As a social worker, by degree and heart, I am involved in the worst and best of people’s lives. I am also an artist, I believe the emotion of joy, love, and pain help me create beauty to share.
Art is the soul of the community and the people are the heartbeat that keeps the passion alive. My passion for art and the community reinforce my belief that art transcends all areas of life, not just through pencil and paper. Art is physical, mental, and emotional.
Art Clubs + Community
Art is an expression of self. I want the youth to be able to feel art in everyday life via food, fashion, self, and their community. To create this movement, we must re-open the minds of our youth. Allow children to be free to explore their imagination again.
